 CHART STARS GATHER FOR BLACK MUSIC BASH
 Top pop act MN8 will bj among a host   
 of stars performing at tonight's Music 
 of Black Origins Awards in London.     
                                        
 The awards pay tribute to musical      
 styles ranging from jazz, gospel and   
 reggae to hip hop, dance and jungle.   
                                        
 Mark Morrison, Coolio, Whitney Houston 
 and George Michael are just some of    
 the stars nominated for awards.        
                                        
 You can catch the ceremony on ITV at   
 10.40pm on Thursday night.

 Formjt Take That star Mark Owen says   
 his first solo single "Child" was      
 partly inspired bz the war in Bosnia.  
                                        
 Heart-throb Mark was speaking after he 
 performed the song on top CBBC show    
 "Live & Kicking" on Saturday.          
                                        
 However, when he was asked whethjt it  
 would be the Christmas No 1 he said he 
 hoped the Dunblane charity record      
 would claim the top spot.              
                                        
  "Child" is released today.
