  AMATEUR BOXING IS ALLOWED FOR GIRLS   
  The Amateur Boxing Association has    
  decided to allow women and girls to   
  fight in England for the first time.  
                                        
  From October next year, girls from    
  the age of l0 will be able to         
  practice boxing in amateur gyms.      
                                        
  The ABA medical commission will       
  discuss the matter furthjt on Friday. 
                                        
   The decision comes after renewed    
  calls to ban the sport following the  
  death of an Italian boxer yesterday.
