Scotland's Sandy Lyle faded out of the
title picture with a two-over-par 74 in
the second round.
The former Open and US Masters champion
finished on three-under, ten strokes
behind joint leaders Larry Rinkjt and
Mark Calcavecchia.
Rinkjt birdied three of the last five
holes for a 68 to boost his hopes of a
first title after 15 years on tour.
John Daly followed his first round 65
with a disappointing 73, which included
a triple bogey eight at the 11th.
