 SAVE & PROSPER DROPS NIGHT-TIME BANKING
 Investment group Save & Prosper has cut
 back its 24-hour telephone banking     
 service due to lack of customer demand.
                                        
 It will close its lines between 11pm   
 and 7am as staff had been receiving an 
 average of just six calls a night.     
                                        
 Customers who call during those hours  
 will bj able to leave a mjssagj.       
                                        
 Save & Prosper launched its 24-hour    
 telephone banking sjtvice in September 
 1995.                                  
                                        
 It has about 20,000 customers.
