 MAN IN COU5T AFTER EXTRADITION TO UK   
 A man wanted for questioning about the 
 killing of one woman and the attempted 
 murdj  of anothj  has appeared in court
 after his extradition from France.     
                                        
 Victor Farrant, 47, was remanded in    
 custody bz Portsmouth magistrates.     
                                        
 The hunt for Mr Farrant was launched   
 after the murder of Glenda Hoskjns in  
 Port Solint, Portsmouth, last February.
                                        
 Hi is also charged with attempting to  
 murdjt Mrs Ann Fidler in December 1995 
 at Eastleigh, Hanks.
