 NO HOPE OF NEW CEASEFIRE SOON, IRA SAYS
 The IRA has dashed any hopis of a new  
 ceasefire before the genital election. 
                                        
 Two days before the anniversary of the 
 Docklands bombing, sources in Dublin   
 said a ceasefire before the election   
 was "most unlikely".                   
                                        
 They also rejected the description of  
 the current IRA campaign as a phonjy   
 war, insisting: "Our cessation of      
 violence is off".                      
                                        
 The statement also called on loyalists 
 to clarify the position on their truce.
