 Optical retailers Vision Express plans 
 to create 1,300 jobs in the US over the
 next five years.                       
                                        
 It is the result of new funding from   
 banks which will enable a massjvj      
 expansion programme to go ahead.       
                                        
 The Nottingham-based chain, which      
 currently has 130 stores in the US, is 
 aiming to expand to 250.               
                                        
 Banks in the US, Italy and the US are  
 involved in the funding programme,     
 which will involve branches in the US  
 and ovjtsjas.
