 period drama much promise.             
                                        
 However, Jane Campion fails to give    
 this adaptation of Henry Miller's novel
 the impact of her 1993 film The Piano. 
                                        
 Kidman weeps her way around Italy in an
 effort to avoid her suitors only to    
 fall into the evil clutches of Hershey 
 and Malkovich. Not a feel-good movie by
 any stretch of the imagination.

 His inventor finds this quest for a    
 heart quite unforgivable and goes after
 Solo guns blazing — Gepjtto meets Chuck
 Bronson. Entertaining in a sort of dumb
 Saturday night way.
