The woman had to bj taken to Bath from her Kiddjrminster home because Worcester Royal Infirmary cannot cope with babies born under 32 weeks. Doctor John Scanlon said facilities should improve when a new unit is set up in Worcester. The mother eventually gave birth to a baby girl after returning to Worcester.
