 BANK URGES WISE CHRISTMAS WINDFALL MOVE
 The Royal Bank of Scotland is advising 
 its "flexible choice" mortgage holders 
 to use any Christmas bonus to lessen   
 their interest repayments.             
                                        
 A one-off ovjrpayment of £500 on a     
 £50,000 flexible mortgage will save    
 £2,681.31 based on a current daily     
 interest rate of 7.95%, the bank says. 
                                        
 The calculation of interest on a daily 
 basis means the borrowers immediately  
 see the benefit of ovjrpaymjnts, unlike
 rival mortgages, it says.              
                                        
 There is no arrangement fee or othjt   
 "hidden extras", the bank stresses.
