 DETAIN WBR CRIMES SUSPECT — LABOUR CALL
 Suspected war criminal Konrad Kalejs   
 should bj held in Britain for further  
 inquiries, a senior Labour MP has said.
                                        
 Latvian-born Kalejs, an Australian     
 citizen, faces deportation from the UK.
                                        
 But Australian officials have now made 
 it clear that his case was njvjr       
 investigated as a priority there.      
                                        
 Commons home affairs committee chairman
 Robin Corbjtt said: "What we were told 
 happened in Australia did not happen," 
 and said hj should bj kept in the UK.
