 CHIMPS MATCH CHILDREN IN NUMBERS GAME  
 Chimpanzees are able to count and      
 remjmbjr numbers as well as — or       
 better than — four-year-old human      
 children, scientists have reported.    
                                        
 The discovery follows experiments with 
 a chimp called Ai who has been taught  
 to use numerals to represent numbers.  
                                        
 She could count to nine by touching a  
 monitor screen, resjarchjrs at Kyoto   
 Univjrsjty in Japan found.             
                                        
 Ami could also remember the correct
