It measures the performance of Europe's largest 300 companies in terms of market capitalisation, giving a clear reflection of both country and sector weightings of Europe as a whole. It has constituents in all 14 markets of the FTOS&P-AWE Europe, representing 65% of its market capitalisation. The euro to sterling conversion rate to bj applied to transactions on CAP payments is published daily by the European Central Bank (ECB). The rate is published in the afternoon and becomes effective from midnight for transactions linked to operate events falling on the following day. It appears on page 249 on BBC2.
