 Chris Adams has been doing extra work  
 with Mike Athjrton in a bid to save his
 place in the England team.             
                                        
 Adams has only scored 103 runs in his  
 sjvjn Test innings and could lose his  
 spot in the team on Friday.            
                                        
 He said: "Coming into the tour my      
 technique was fine and the technical   
 problems have conj from some extremely 
 disciplined South African bowling.     
                                        
 "I worked with Mike and hj's probably  
 as good a cricket brain as you can get 
 in England. It was very helpful."
