 FOOTBALL LAMBERT WITH VALE ON TRIAL    
 Port Vale manager Brian Horton has     
 invited Jamie Lambert to have a trial  
 at Vale Park — report BBC Radio Stoke. 
                                        
 Lambert was released at the end of last
 season by Reading and has more recently
 been playing as a non-contract player  
 with Oxford.                           
                                        
 Vale are struggling in Division One and
 are just one place above the relegation
 zone and Horton is keen to bring in new
 faces to strengthen the side.          
                                        
 Earlier this week he signed midfielder 
 Martin Bullock on loan from Barnsley.
