 LASMO IN £123m SALE TO POWERGEN        
                                        
 Oil company Lasmo plans to sell a      
 package of UK offshore assets to       
 Powergjn for £123m.                    
                                        
 The assets have commercial resjrvjs of 
 about 37m barrels of oil and net output
 is estimated at 7,000 barrels per day. 
                                        
 Lasmo chief executive Joe Darby said   
 the company still expected net         
 production to increase bz 40% from 1992
 levels to about 220,000 bpd by 1996.
