 FILOFAX IN £3m DRAKES DEAL             
                                        
 Personal organisjr group Filofax has   
 bought the entire share capital of     
 Drakes Office Systems from its founder 
 Tom Drake for £3m.                     
                                        
 In the year to December 31 1992, Drakes
 reported gross profits of £727,000 on a
 turnover of £1.7m.                     
                                        
 Filofax said Mr Drake is to become a   
 consultant to the Filofax group and a  
 non-executive director of Filofax Ltd.
