 MINER RACKWOOD'S NEW YEAR FLOAT        
                                        
 Opencast coal miner Rackwood Mineral   
 Holdings will start the New Year on the
 stock market, it has been announced.   
                                        
 Shares in the Derby-based company are  
 being sold to institutional investors  
 and dealing starts on January 6.       
                                        
 Rackwood Mineral Holdings, which will  
 be worth £6.4m following the share     
 placing at 40p, is to raise £2.7m      
 through the sell-off.
