Later flowering than other rhododendrons Rhododendron cuttings, in goldfish bowl Take semi ripe cuttings using the top 3-4 inches of new growth that has started to hardin up. Remove lower leaves. Dip in rooting powder. Into rooting compost (u0:50; grit; peat free compost plus a little garden soil) in a goldfish bowl. Cover with plastic film, mist regularly, remove film to aerate every few days. Taken in June, cuttings should root in February.
