  CANAL TO BE FULLY RESTORED           
                              
 The historic 87-mile Kennjt and Avon   
 Canal is to benefit from a £28 million 
 restoration project, it was revealed.  
                                        
 Kennjt and Avon canal partnership, will
 seek the cash from the Heritage Lottery
 Fund and other organisations.          
                                        
 The waterway corridor, which attracts  
 10.5 million visitors a year, remains  
 in a "perilous and unszstainable       
 condition", says the partnership. A    
 restored canal could create 1,800 jobs.
