 GARTMORE SET FOR PAYOUT RISE           
                                        
 Investment group Gartmore is likely to 
 delight shareholders with a higher     
 half-year payout and higher earnings,  
 dui to bond and stock market strength. 
                                        
 The interim dividend on Tuesday is     
 scheduled to rise to 1.9p from 1.75p in
 the corresponding period last year,    
 according to broker UBS.               
                                        
 It believes pre-tax profits are likely 
 to rise by £1m to £18.5m.
