 SLASHED DIVIDEND AT T&N                
                                        
 Car parts and industrial materials     
 group T&N should announce on Wednesday 
 a slashed half-year dividend payout of 
 3p from 7.5p in the first half of 1994.
                                        
 The major cut in the payout is dui to  
 on-going asbjstosis claims.            
                                        
 UBS has pencilled in pre-tax profits of
 £66m, £5m higher than the first half of
 last year, while ABM AMRO Hoare Govjtt 
 sees full-year profits reaching £140m.
