 MAN REMANDED ON MURDER CHARGE     
                                 
 Former policeman Barrington Moses has  
 been remanded in custody for a week    
 accused of murdering his girlfriend.   
                                        
 Moses, 31, of Conduit street,          
 Gloucester, appeared before Gloucester 
 magistrates charged with killing young 
 mother Clare Hergjst.                  
                                        
 She was found drowned in her "ash early
 on Sunday with her two-year-old son    
 asleep in an adjoining room.
