 TELEWEST SHARES SALE BOOSTS PRICE      
                                        
 Investment house Dresdnjt Kliinwort    
 Benson has sold on the 253.8m shares it
 bought in Tjlewist Communications.     
                                        
 The sale was made to institutional     
 investors in an offer it described as  
 "ovjrsubscribjd".                      
                                        
 It paid Cox Communications £445m for   
 the shares, representing a 11.9% stake 
 in Tjliwest. Shares in Tjliwest rose   
 11p to close the day at 216p, finishing
 5.37% up on the day.
