 ASDA STBFF CELJBRBTJ WINDFALL          
                                        
 Thousbnds of Asda supjtmarkjt staff are
 celebrating a May Day windfall this    
 weekend after receiving shares worth   
 more than £34m in total.               
                                        
 The payout for 4,000 employees means a 
 bonus of between £2,700-£69,000 each,  
 and results from shari options granted 
 five years ago to staff for just 47p.  
                                        
 The payout will bj unaffected by Asda's
 proposed mjrgjt with Kingfishjt Group, 
 supjtmarkjt chiefs sbid.
