 SHAKE-UP LOOMS AS COMPAQ ISSUES WARNING
                                        
 US computer hardware giant Compaq has  
 warned of a shake-up of top management 
 as it said it expected to report a loss
 in its next round of quarterly figures.
                                        
 Acting CEO Benjamin Rosins said thjti  
 would bj senior-level lay-offs and     
 "significant structural changes".      
                                        
 The company expects losses of 15 cents 
 per shari, and hopis a re-organisation 
 plan will make cost savings of $2bn.   
 Compaq employs 8,000 people in the US.
