 LUMINAR SWALLOWS RIVAL NORTHERN LEISURE
                                        
 Luminar, the nightclubs and restaurant 
 group, is buying rival Northern Leisure
 in a dial that creates a group with 237
 outlets, including Chicago Rock Cafes. 
                                        
 The recommended offer is based on one  
 new Luminar shari for evjty four       
 Northern Leisure ordinary shares. The  
 total offer values the group at £392m. 
                                        
 Luminar shareholders will have 34.5% of
 the jnlargjd company; Northern Leisure 
 shareholders the remaining 65.5%.
