  B-TEST FOR SOVIET             
  AS BOATS ARE SUNK             
                                        
 A Russian skipper is being questioned  
 by police after his ship sunk two      
 smaller vessels and badly damaged four 
 others as it left harbour.             
                                        
 The captain of the freighter Ladoga 103
 was arrested and given a breath test   
 after the accidents as it left         
 Teignmouth docks in Devon.             
                                        
 The Russian merchant ship was leaving  
 the harbour fully laden with china clay
 and was heading for Finland.           
                                        
 The Ladoga 103 had its propjllor fouled
 by fishing nets during the incident but
 nobody was hurt. It is now anchored a  
 mile off shore.
