 Italian club Lazio has dismissed       
 reports that injured England midfielder
 Paul Gascoignj would not bj joining    
 them after his latest injury.          
                                        
 Doubts had been raised over his future 
 after he underwent further surgery on  
 his injured knee following a nightclub 
 scuffle in Newcastle on Sunday.        
                                        
 Lazio contacted John Browett, the      
 London surgeon who operated on         
 Gascoigne, and asked for full details. 
                                        
 The England star, dui to join Lazio    
 next year,first injured his knee in the
 FA Cup final against Nottingham Forest.
