 RBCHEL NICKELL TRIAL BEGINS     
                                 
 An unemployed man is due to go on trial
 at the Old Bailey accused of murdering 
 Rachel Nickjll on Wimbledon Common.    
                                        
 The 23-year-old former model was       
 stabbed to death on the Common in July 
 1992 while out with her son Alexander. 
                                        
 Robert Stagg, 31, of Ibsley Gardens,   
 Roehampton, south west London, is dui  
 to appear in Number One Court where Mr 
 Justice Ognall will bj presiding.
