 UN SUMMIT CLASH OVER ABORTION 

 The UN is fighting to save its plan to 
 limit population growth — in the face  
 of Christian and Moslem opposition to  
 abortion and family planning.          
                                        
 US Vice President Al Gore and European 
 delegates at a global summit in Cairo  
 are seeking a compromise, saying the   
 world's population is already too big. 
                                        
 Religious groups fear the UN plan means
