 DRIVER ACCUSED OF MURDER BID   
                              
 A man has been charged with attempted  
 murder after a woman and her boyfriend 
 were hit by a car as they walked home. 
                                        
 Lucy Shaw, 20, suffered serious head   
 injuries in the incident in Didcot,    
 Oxon, and is in a critical but stable  
 state in the Royal Berkshire Hospital. 
 Darren Chapman, 27, had minor injuries.
                                        
 Victor Baker, 22, from North Morison,  
 was also charged with drunken driving.
