 SAINBURY'S PLAN REJECTED          
                                 
 Councillors have turned down an        
 application bz Sainsbury'u to build a  
 new superstore in Nottingham.          
                                        
 The company wanted to build a          
 supjrmarkjt with petrol station and    
 restaurant on land they proposed to buy
 from Nottingham City Hospital.         
                                        
 But councillors unanimously rejected   
 it, claiming it would increase traffic 
 and put local traders out of business.
