 GRANADA BLASTS FORTE DEFENCE           
                                        
 Granada attacked Forte's bid defunci as
 the war of words between the two raged.
                                        
 Granada chief executive Gerry Robinson 
 said: "This is nothing more than a     
 quick fix which fails to address the   
 key issues.b                           
                                        
 Yesterday, Forte said it planned to    
 spend £800m buying back its own shares 
 as it stepped up its defence against   
 the £3.3bn takeover bid.
