 have cost the UK an estimated £500m, a 
 leading insurance specialist claims.   
                                        
 The Balcombj Group says its offices in 
 Manchester, Newcastle and Scotland have
 been inundated with loss claims from   
 homes and businesses.                  
                                        
 It advises claimants to keep receipts  
 along with lists and photographs of    
 damaged property.
