 MINISTER ORDERS NOISE PROBE       

 Mistakes have been made in calculating 
 noise levels from the widened M5 at a  
 Worcestershire village, MPs heard.     
                                        
 Transport minister John Watts told the 
 Commons he was ordering the Highways   
 Agency to appoint consultants to       
 reassess noise levels at Whittington.  
                                        
 Worcester Tory MP Peter Luff said that 
 since the widening of a 13-mile section
 in 1993 levels had become "intolerable"
