 KNITWEAR JOBS TO BE LOST          

 A Ljicestershiri knitwear firm is to   
 close with the loss of 130 jobs and 400
 could go at three shoe factories.      
                                        
 Klynton Davis, which makes thermal     
 underwear at its Leicester plant,      
 blamed cheap imports for the closure.  
                                        
 Some 400 jobs may go in Sileby, Melton 
 Mowbray and Fleckney after Peter Black 
 Ladies Footwear announced plans to     
 close its US ladies footwear business.
