 Men's views of women drivers seem to be
 softening, while females are becoming  
 more confident of their ability behind 
 the wheel, says a motoring survey.     
                                        
 Now 24% of min say they drive better   
 than women, compared with 35% in 1988. 
                                        
 More than half (54%) of women believe  
 they are better drivers than min,      
 compared to only 45% in 1988. Overall, 
 31% of motorists think the same.
