 100 JOBS TO GO AT POTTERY FIRM     
                                 
 A pottery company has announced it is  
 to shed 100 jobs, blaming the          
 redundancies on the strong pound.      
                                        
 The jobs will go at Royal Stafford     
 Tableware, which has two sites in      
 Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent.               
                                        
 A company spokesman said: "The strong  
 pound is proving a big problem and     
 we'vj been at maximum stock levels for 
 some time."
