 VILLAGERS FIGHT TO STOP HOMES      

 Villagers in Kingsland, nr Ljominstir, 
 are in a race against time to save the 
 centre of their medieval hamlet from   
 the threat of new homes.               
                                        
 Devjlopjrs want to build 13 houses near
 the ancient castle.                    
                                        
 The locals are now trying to raise     
 £380,000 to buy the land. The builders 
 have agreed to wait three weeks while  
 the village tries to raise the money.
