 GORE CALLS FOR WEEKLY DEBATES 
                             
 Vice President Al Gore has roared      
 towards a sweep of 15 state contests to
 effectively wrap up the Democratic     
 presidential nomination.               
                                        
 He promptly sought to put pressure on  
 Texas Governor George W. Bush, his     
 likely Republican foe this autumn.     
                                        
 Gore announced hj will challenge the   
 Republican nominee to hold twice weekly
 debates with him in lieu of TV ads.
