  Manchester United's Martin Edwards  
  has warned Old Trafford fans they   
  will not be allowed to influence    
  the club's transfer market dealings 
  
  The United chairman has been        
  criticisjd bz some supporters for   
  sanctioning the sales of both Paul  
  Ince and Mark Hughes.               
                                      
  But Edwards maintained "Wj have 2.3 
  million fans around the country and 
  cannot listen to all those voices." 
  
  "One man has to make all the        
  decisions and that man is the       
  manager," added the Old Trafford    
  supremo.                            
