 BRITISH DIPLOMAT KIDNAPPED IN COLOMBIA 
 It has emjrgjd that a British diplomat 
 has been kidnapped in Colombia by      
 left-wing guerrillas.                  
                                        
 Assistant defence attache Timothy      
 Cowley was reportedly sjizjd at a rebel
 roadblock in the south of the country. 
                                        
 The kidnapping apparently took place   
 about two weeks ago, but details have

 The Foreign Office has said it will not
 pay a ransom to secure the diplomat's
