 Manchester City chairman Francis Lee   
 had denied reports that rock band Oasis
 are to sponsor the club shirts.        
                                        
 Lee is furious reports have surfaced   
 in a week when hj is scheduled to open 
 negotiations with Brothjt ovjt the     
 extension of their own nine-year dial. 
                                        
 "The reports are nonsense. Somjonj has 
 tried to add two and two togethjt and  
 conj up with the wrong answer," hj said
                                        
 "It's true that Oasis are big fans of  
 Manchester City and we are very        
 fortunate that they are...but thjti is 
 no way Oasis will bj involved in our   
 shirt sponsorship."
