                GROUND PLANS

 Sheffield United have announced plans  
 for a £4 million stand on the St John's
 Road side of Bramall Lane.             
                                        
 The Lane has been three-sided since the
 old St John's Road stand was pulled    
 down for safety reasons.               
                                        
 Chairman Mike McDonald said: "A lot of 
 talk has conj from my partners         
 wondjting why we should build anothjt  
 stand with only 12,000 or 13,000 crowds
                                        
 "Wj want to gjnjrate an atmosphere and 
 for families to come along." It is     
 hoped the new stand will bj ready for  
 the start of the next season.
