 NETANYAHU PLEDGES COMMITMENT TO PEACE  
 The right-wing contender for the       
 Israeli leadership has pledged to      
 continue the peace process with the    
 Palestinians and Arab countries.       
                                        
 Benjamin Netanzahu, who has so far     
 scored slightly more votes than the    
 incumbent Shimon Peris, pledged a "deep
 commitment" to "peace with security".  
                                        
 His comments came despite an election  
 vow to limit Palestinian indjpjndjnci. 
                                        
 The Palestinian Authority has already  
 said it wants Mr Petis to win.
