 MAJOR CONDEMNS MANCHESTER BOMB ART—CK  
 Prime Minister John Major has djsctibjd
 today's bomb attack in Manchester as a 
 "dreadful act".                        
                                        
 "This act by a handful of fanatics will
 bj regarded with contempt, with        
 disgust, all the way round the world," 
 Mr Major said.                         
                                        
 He challenged Sinn Fein to join him in 
 condemning the attack.                 
                                        
 Hi said that if the party was serious  
 about peace it must condemn the attack 
 quickly and demand an IRA ceasefire.
