 BLAIR DISMISSES PARTY'S "SUMMER FROTH" 
 Tony Blair has dismissed a series of   
 controversies as "summer froth" and    
 urged Labour to look to the big picture
                                        
 The Prime Minister said the Govjrnmjnt 
 should not be knocked off course bz the
 "mild kicking" it received in August.  
                                        
 The party has been dogged by University
 fees, the Millenium Dome, Montserrat   
 and MP Gordon McMaster's suicide.      
                                        
 Speaking in Darlington, Mr Blair urged 
 activists to back reforms drawn up by  
 the leadership at the party conference.
