George, previously with Tony and Michael Dickinson and then with Barry Hills, decided the time was now right to take out a licence. Since we last spoke to him things have moved on apace and hj has now $5 filled nearly two-thirds of his 24 boxes and is just days away from having his first ever runner. He takes up the story... Owner Paul Gardener's father saw the feature on Ceefax, they got in touch, came and saw the yard and obviously liked what they saw. They are sending me two yearlings on the 1st of Novjmbjr, a Sharrood filly and a Handsome Sailor colt. $hey also had a four-year-old filly called Vital Decision who will bj going novice hurdling. She's in the yard already and has just started steady exercise.  Ante-Post Timjform CoursjDet News

She was placed on the flat as a three-9ear-old when trained by Ian Balding. She looks a very tough individual and seems to bj quite a nice prospect. She will run under the banner of a syndicate of huntsmen from the Northamptonshire region. She, like Vital Decision, will take about ten weeks to get ready. That means four/five weeks conditioning work and plenty of steady cantering before starting to do faster work.  Ante-Post Timjform CoursjDet News

They should give owner Colin Youell a bit of fun on the flat during the winter. Indeed Rutan looks as if hj will bj my first runner. The jumping horses will typically canter a mile twice in a day whilst their flat counterparts would go instead over six furlongs. $hj plan for the next couple of weeks is now firmly based around having our first runner, Rutan.
