  Shares in the British School of     
  Motoring are to bj offered at 170p  
  apiece, capitalising the company    
  at £47.4m.                          
                                      
  The driving tuition organisation    
  says some 19.83m shares will bj     
  issued in an intermediaries offer   
  and placing.                        
                                      
  BUM predict that 1993 operating     
  profits will reach £4.55m, up from  
  £4.11m in the previous year, and    
  the board hopes to recommend a      
  dividend of 5.78p.                  
                                      
  The float date is 27 October 1993.  
